Dr. Rajkumar Rangamandira

The Dr. Rajkumar Theatre (Rangamandir) has been comprehensively renovated and upgraded to international standards, transforming it into a vibrant, multi-functional public space that serves the cultural, physical, and social needs of the community. This redevelopment reflects a holistic vision—where art, health, and wellness coexist under one roof for people of all age groups.

The building consists of three floors, each thoughtfully designed for a specific purpose. The ground floor is dedicated to drama, theatre, dance, music, and cultural activities, providing a professional and accessible venue for artists, performers, and cultural organizations. This space plays a vital role in preserving and promoting local art forms while offering citizens a platform for creative expression.

The first floor houses a Yoga Kendra, created to support the physical and mental well-being of senior citizens, men, women, and youth. Designed as a calm and inclusive space, the Yoga Kendra encourages healthy lifestyles, stress management, and preventive healthcare through regular practice.

On the second floor, an international-standard Gymnasium has been established to promote fitness and wellness among youth. Equipped with modern training facilities, the gym provides an affordable and accessible option for young people to focus on physical fitness, discipline, and overall health.

By integrating culture, yoga, and fitness within a single renovated structure, Dr. Rajkumar Theatre stands as a model for community-centered urban infrastructure. It reinforces the belief that public spaces should nurture not just entertainment, but also health, creativity, and social harmony.
